ALPAX 4508 – 8508 SW
Saltwater evolution of Alpax FD, recognized for its reliability, the SW Version (Salt Water) has the necessary changes to strengthen and give it the opportunity to confront marine predators. Its frame, rotor and coil are made of corrosion resistant aluminum and the waterproof progressive drag secures your fighting whatever the conditions.
The 4508 SW size is for bass Fisheries and applications in the medium-heavy range.
The SW 8508 model, has an axis and a pickup roller strengthened and a foolproof system of fixed anti reverse. It has been tested successfully on the Indian Ocean facing Skipjacks tuna 4 to 6kg, Snappers and even a Sailfish of forty pounds. Its reinforced carbon brake discs also support very well the powerful rushes of the tuna in this weight range. We would recommend it for sessions on European shores or for lightweight applications or exotic.
