PLAYERS fishing rod – Spinning

Our Players ULST PLS 723 lure rod has been specifically designed for finesse anglers, those who fish with drop-shot rigs, small soft lures on micro jig heads or presenting finesse rubber jigs.

With 2.18 m length offering a greater reach when shore fishing, facilitating control of the drift and the animation of the lure. With its compact size, you can use it anywhere, big rivers, mountain lake or by the sea. With a power reserve significantly higher than traditional “rockfishing” rods, you will not fear hooking larger fish as they can controlled easily. Feel free to also use crankbaits less than 5g in weight, it is surprising capable with this method. Its blank, ends with a full carbon tip (Solid Tip – ST) which provides unmatched bite detection and instant recognition of subtle bites, and greater feel of changes in substrate or underwater terrain.

Blank : High performance Toray carbon

Players lure rods use the latest generation of Japanese ‘Toray’ carbon sheets whose multi-axial fibers are impregnated with epoxy resins reinforced with carbon-nano balls. These are spread more deeply in the heart of the fibers unlike nanotubes usually employed in the fishing industry. This results in increased resistance to impact, micro-cracks and compression, while remarkably reducing the weight of the rod and improving their performance.

Guides : Fuji Alconite K-Frame Tangle Free

Alconite or reinforced aluminum oxide, is the third material on FUJI quality scale for the construction of the ceramic ring of the ring.
It is second to SiC in terms of thermal conductivity, sensitivity, sliding and abrasion resistance.
It is resistant to the friction of braided lines.
The polished stainless steel frame has a great resistance to marine corrosion.
The Alconite FUJI is very often used as a component on mid-high range rods.
Always at the forefront of innovation, Sakura offers to benefit from the advanced technology of Fuji with the use of new rings of the “K” series.
The development of these rings has resulted in an uncommon frame profile that cancels any risk of tangling when casting.
Deployed on all Players rods, “K-Frame” rings will bring great security and comfort whatever the conditions.

Reel seat : Fuji VSS

Players rods are equipped with Fuji reel seats.
Robustness, ergonomics and precision in their construction are the characteristics of these essential accessories for the proper maintenance of the reel on the rod, a guarantee of comfort and efficiency.
The reel “VSS” is very ergonomic. Its tapered design significantly improves the user experience and greatly improves your perception of your lure swim and the most subtle touches. It boosts the sensitivity exceptional blanks canes Players!
Often copied but never equaled, the Fuji reel seats are true references in the world market. They mainly equip the most high end rods for freshwater or sea. So you also require the FUJI quality!

Grip material : Hi-density EVA

Compact and dense EVA foam used on our rods ensures a comfortable fit regardless of the weather conditions and perfectly transmit the vibrational messages sent by your lure or you target fish.

Monobloc hollow carbon butt grip

For this premium range of rods, we opted for the construction of carbon monobloc butt. Thus, by reducing the number of  components (cork, foam, whipping, resin, glues and varnishes) we considerably reduced the size and weight while significantly improving ease of use and sensitivity of the rod which is in contact with your forearm and your hand.
